just another love story

A film by Ole Bornedal Starring Anders W. Bertelsen Rebecka Hemse Nikolaj Lie Kaas Charlotte Fich Dejan Cukic, the movie is about Jonas (Anders W. Berthelsen) - a family man with a wife (Charlotte Fich) and two children - whose fate takes a dramatic and unexpected turn when he finds that he may have been the cause of a car accident>  The victin Julia played by Rebecka Hemse wakes up with amnesia in hospital the day after the accident, and she is visited by Jonas who unintentionally slips into the role of the boyfriend....,

This is a parody on the classic love story when a man takes on the identity of another through a series of events which allows him to try and do the right thing, only to find himself deeper and deeper in serious trouble.

The film - at once very dark and very funny - tells the story of a man trapped inside his own fantasy.  The hero - or victim - because he is indeed both, and at the same time - takes on a role which some of us may only dream about.

The thrilling and somewhat compelling - if not fantastical? - story has a number of twists and turns and more than its fair share of the unexpected.

But the audience is on the edge of their seats with a series of visual tricky in a split-screen format which helps you keep up with the plot - although you do have to be quick.

Despite a couple of gory moments this movie is must... and there are many alerts so that you can cover your eyes, while the rest of the theatres outbursts of ever-increasing disgust and horror keep you abreast with the story.

Well worth a viewing particular for those who have has enough of the rom-com and the chick flick!
